Huntly Memorial Hall

Run by a dedicated committee of locals, Huntly Memorial Hall is an iconic and historic event venue located on the shores of Lake Hakanoa in Raahui Pookeka Huntly. The goal was to develop new branding and a professional website that effectively present the hall as a premier event space while reflecting its heritage. 

To begin, we established a distinct brand identity that honoured the hall as a war memorial for the area. We desgined the logo to reflect the memeorial cenotaph, with iconic typography and a colour palette inspired by the Huntly Fire Bricks of the hall. These visual elements ensures the brand connects with the halls history and local significance.

For the website we focused on function, eliminating the outdated printed booking forms. We built a clear and professional website that included 360° views, a streamlined online booking system, and availability checker. The halls online platform simplifies the process for both potential hirers and hall staff, enabling hall staff to effectively manage hall bookings while ensuring this community space is accessible to the future.
